[11:10 am Radar Update] A boundary with moderate to heavy rainfall is aligned from the offshore waters to the east of South Padre Island to just south of the Cameron County border in Mexico. The heaviest of the rainfall should stay concentrated just south of the area but do expect periods of light rain and some passing showers at times today across deep south Texas.
This boundary has led to up to 8 inches of doppler rainfall estimates within the last 72 hours just offshore within 50 miles. The good thing is that this fell across the waters and not inland where this amount of rainfall would of led to flooding issues.
